When Obedience Unlocks Overflow

A Testimony of Faith, Alignment, and God’s Perfect Timing
Today, I witnessed God’s faithfulness in a way that left me in tears, not because everything was perfect, but because everything was aligned.
When I published my very first book, 7 Days of Fasting for Alignment & Overflow, I did it in obedience, not abundance. My checking account was below $50. My resources were stretched thin, and yet, my faith was full.
From the beginning of this journey, God spoke clearly:
“Fast for 7 days. Align. Prepare. Pray. Then journal every detail. Document the journey and share it with the world.”
I didn’t know the why.
I didn’t know the how.
But I knew the voice of God, and I obeyed.
Many times, obedience doesn’t make logical sense.
But obedience always unlocks supernatural clarity.
The Test Before the Testimony
During my fast, God emphasized one truth over and over again:
“I am your Source. Not your job. Not your accounts. Not your plans. Me.”
So I moved accordingly.
I used a credit card to purchase not just one ISBN, but ten, because stewardship means making decisions that honor the future God is building, even when current resources are limited. (Why spend $100 on one ISBN when you can invest $200 to own ten? Wisdom over worry.)
But then came the moment that humbled me completely…
When I went to purchase the first printed copy of my own book, the card declined.
Twice.
And then, on the third attempt, the second card went through.
I was able to purchase two copies for $18.
And I praised God like it was $18,000.
Because this wasn’t just a purchase.
It was a prophetic act of alignment.
It was God saying, “Daughter, you obeyed. Now watch Me provide.”
What I Learned on Day 7
On the final day of the fast, I woke up feeling something I hadn’t felt in months…
Blueprint clarity.
The confidence of someone who has been taught and guided by God Himself.
The peace that comes when obedience meets divine timing.
I heard the old hymn my grandmother Gloria used to sing with the choir:
“Order my steps in Your word, dear Lord…”
And I realized, He had.
Every step of this fast was divinely ordered.
This Book Was Born From Obedience
I didn’t set out to write a book.
I was simply journaling, as I always do during prayer and fasting.
But this time was different.
God said, “Share it. Be transparent. Others need this.”
This book is not about financial increase.
It is about Kingdom alignment.
It is about heart posture.
It is about deliverance.
It is about trust.
And it is about reminding others that:
God will sustain you.
God will carry you.
God will provide for you.
And God will deliver you, even when you don’t look like what you’re going through.
Breaking Generational Fear
During the fast, the fear of “not having enough” broke off me.
I am not God.
I am not the provider.
I am simply the vessel.
My assignment is to teach my children, and everyone connected to my life, how to fast, pray, budget, steward, and live aligned with purpose. Because true generosity and true abundance begin with proper alignment.
One of the most powerful moments of this fast happened in my kitchen:

This fast was never just about finances.
It was about GENERATIONAL WEALTH; in wisdom, faith, and alignment.

• Pouring from an empty place
• Waiting on clarity or direction

God finances your assignment.
He orders your steps.
And He will never call you to something He won’t also provide for.
